Is it read-only, or can I write to it?+

Read-only. Your credentials cannot change or delete anything, so you can query the whole history as hard as you like without any risk to your data.

I'm not technical. Is a data warehouse overkill for me?+

Not at all, and you never have to touch SQL if you don't want to. Ask questions in plain English through the MCP, or point any no-code BI tool at it. What you're really getting is the hard part already done: clean, processed, continuously updated data you can actually trust for decisions, not a one-time export you have to maintain yourself. No engineering degree required.

I have a data team. Is this deep enough for serious analysis?+

Yes. It's a real PostgreSQL database, so your team can run any SQL, connect Tableau, Metabase, Looker, Hex or Jupyter, build dashboards and internal tools, wrap it in your own MCP or API, and schedule cron jobs. Every table is documented and already joined for you. Easy enough for a founder on day one, deep enough for a data scientist.

How is this different from connecting Claude or a BI tool straight to the Amazon and Shopify APIs?+

Two reasons: setup and data quality. Wiring the raw APIs yourself means a private-developer registration and review for Amazon SP-API, a separate Ads API approval, an AMC instance on AWS, and a Shopify custom app, each with its own tokens to manage. Then the raw data is often stale, duplicated or scoped to the wrong marketplace, so you would be scheduling pulls, catching failed reports, deduplicating and verifying completeness before anything is trustworthy. We do all of that for you and hand you a clean, joined PostgreSQL schema, with Amazon and Shopify already unified and 85+ reports layered on top.

What database is it, and how do I connect?+

A standard PostgreSQL database. Connect any SQL-speaking tool with your read-only credentials: psql, Python (pandas / psycopg2), Tableau, Metabase, Looker, Hex, Jupyter, even Excel.
